====== Closing apps ======
How you can close apps, depends on your launcher. On the rM1 most launchers depend on using the buttons. On the rM2, only remux currently supports gestures.

===== Draft =====

Draft expects either the application to allow exiting from the UI, or for the user to use an external service ([[https://github.com/dixonary/button-capture-reMarkable|button-capture]] or [[https://rmkit.dev/apps/genie|genie]]) to manage closing the application.

===== Remux =====
Hold the middle button or swipe up the side of the display to open remux and switch applications.

===== Oxide =====
You have several options with Oxide. The [[https://oxide.eeems.codes/documentation/01_usage.html#usage|Oxide usage documentation]] has more information.
  * Hold down the left button to open the launcher, or swipe from the left edge of the screen. Long press on the running application, and press the kill button to close it.
  * Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the application switcher. Long press on the running application to close it.
